jordan and i had the chance to visit good friends at our old home in oxford, ohio. jordan and i met at miami university, we spent a lot of time hanging around those fountains. it was the first time we had a proper visit since we graduated over two years ago. it didn’t seem that long ago, until we saw all the change. we walked through new buildings and students that i knew in high school were showing me around.
^^this is where jordan would pretend to be studying or eating lunch at those benches to the right. he would casually be there right after my sculpture class in heistand ended (the building to the right). i can still vividly recall the time he asked if i wanted to walk with him to class and asked me to go on our first date in front of the chemistry building. (i knew he liked me because i was in a old tshirt and covered head-to-toe in plaster from class)
^^there’s the art building!
it was also a big treat to be able to see nicki, my best friend from college. we happened to be visiting the same weekend and it was a sweet sweet coincidence. she made our trip so much more nostalgic being there.
and it was wonderfully strange seeing my iu friend, kelsey at miami. i am so glad that she’s sticking around the midwest.
