For the first time ever, we will be hosting Christmas at our home and having family stay over. Jordan and I have never been in our own home on Christmas. I am beyond ecstatic and have gone above and beyond, adding a little cheer to every room in the house, including the bathroom. I am so impressed with how cute our bathroom looks, that I wanted to share with you the simple ways I spruced up our bathroom for the holiday.
Ruby’s favorite room to hang out in is the bathroom. She’s always hiding in the closet behind that lace curtain and getting in to everything. Is it just my child who loves playing with toilet paper? It’s a good thing we’re getting her blocks for Christmas. Anyway, it actually makes cleaning our upstair bathroom a little easier, because she keeps herself busy.
5 ways to spruce up your bathroom this holiday
1 | Deep Clean. The worst part about visiting someone else’s house is being in a messy bathroom. It’s incredible how a good cleaning can make a bathroom look so much brighter.
3 | Fresh towels. I like to make sure the bathroom has clean towels for guest, and maybe even a festive hand towel.
4 | Fully stocked toilet paper. It would be a very terrible thing to run out of toilet paper at a party. We store our toilet paper out in the open in a cute basket so that guest can clearly see where it is. A little tip: the Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® Mega Rolls last longer, so less you don’t have to change them as often, or worry about checking while guests are over.
5 | A little cheer. Adding a little greenery can freshen up the bathroom while adding a little holiday flair. I made the bell garland in just under five minutes just stringing bells on to baker’s twine and knotting them once to stay in one spot. I also changed out the artwork with a simple holiday printable (which you can download here).I picked up a massive thing of Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® Mega Rolls, so that we don’t need to pick up any more for the rest of the year! I used a cartwheel coupon to get 10% off, here’s the link. While we were out at Target, I also picked up the shelf that you see in these photos. I’m so glad I finally did it, it adds a finished look to the bathroom.
