We had a full day of Christmas fun after our Christmas morning: bunch, gingerbread house competition, more gifts, and family. It was a good day and here are all of the photos to remember.
We had our friends over for brunch and while Jordan cooked, I set the table. Since we don’t really have any Christmas tableware I added some greenery and cranberries to make it festive. It didn’t take much effort at all, but looked so pretty.
A tradition my family has is to make a gingerbread house. Over the years it has turned into quite the production and a contest. We were sad to not be with all of my family this year, but the traditions lived on. Our friends were completely on board and I was very impressed by our creations. The boys made a camp site that you might remember from this post.
Here are our finished gingerbread houses! Aren’t they pretty spectacular? I don’t think we decided on a winner, because they were both great. Just check out those details. And also make sure to take note of Ruby hugging Avery.
My parents made it in the afternoon bearing gifts.
They got Ruby an adorable stroller for her baby dolls and a Christmas book. Jordan was very surprised with the tent they got him.
And the best thing is Christmas still isn’t over! My brother and his wife Chelsey will be visiting this weekend and we get to celebrate again with them. I’ll share some more photos from our Christmas with Jordan’s family tomorrow.
