In the beginning of March, Ruby and I jumped on a plane heading to the sunshine state. Jordan was starting two weeks of nights, so it was perfect timing. I have family near Fort Myers, so it worked out perfectly down to the exact nights Jordan was working. It was just what we needed.
I called up my sister-in-law, Chelsey about a week or two before we were heading out and managed to convince her and my brother to fly down as well. Also at the same time, my aunt and grandma were visiting too, it was so sweet to be around family.
Ruby wasn’t so sure about the sand at first. Here she is not letting me put her down, toddlers are so good at this trick. look at her lifting her feet up so they don’t touch haha! We knew that she loved the beach from our experiences in Europe, but this was a little different, it was actually warm!!

I love this pose, she’s still a little unsure, but also kind of loving it.
It didn’t take too long!
seriously a perfect day, it was a little overcast, but made for the best photos. this was our first day on the beach, but was the day I got the most photos.
looking for shells!
Seriously the best time, thanks again for coming on short notice to hang out with us, Jordan and Chelsey! and thanks for taking most of the photos, chels!
